Hemel Hempstead MP Sir Mike Penning has proposed an Early Day Motion in Parliament congratulating Hemel Storm on their incredible success in winning their first ever trophy in the National Basketball Cup.
An Early Day Motion (EDM) is a motion laid before Parliament with no fixed date for debate and as such will probably never be debated. MPs use EDMs to highlight matters they want raised or want to make other MPs aware of.
