High Street Green Sinkhole

21st August 2017

Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning is calling for a site meeting with the County Council engineers and Thames Water to discuss the repairs to the sink hole in High Street Green.

The sink hole appeared back in May and since then the road has been closed causing disruption for residents, drivers and pedestrians.

Mike said:

“The lack of movement on this and the lack of information is totally unacceptable. I agree with Dacorum Borough Councillor Graham Adshead that we need more information and some progress as soon as possible.

“Residents tell me that nothing has happened on site and I have now written to the County Council and Thames Water calling for a site meeting. I think, at very least, we need a full understanding of the situation and for the survey report to be made public.”
