Mike Penning welcomed a local card-maker to the House of Commons to thank her for donation to Treats for our Troops campaign.
Local MP, Mike Penning, welcomed Mrs Pamela Young to the House of Commons this week (Tuesday 3rd November).
Disabled card-maker, Mrs Young, has donated home-made cards to Mike Penning’s Treats for our Troops campaign.
The cards will be added to Treats for our Troops shoeboxes which are being put together by the Hemel Lions. Mrs Young also donated an impressive stamp collection to the Hemel Lions.
Mike Penning said:
“I am very pleased to be able to invite Mrs Young to the House of Commons as a way of saying thank you to her kind donation. I know that Hemel Lions are also grateful for the stamp collection which they sold raising an incredible £700 for charity.”
