Mike attended the Young Enterprise – Dacorum Area Final 2011

EB Creations, the Young Enterprise company from John F Kennedy School in Hemel Hempstead was announced the winner of the Dacorum Area Final, hosted by The Paper Trail in Apsley on 6th April 2011. Eight companies from local schools competed in the event organised by Young Enterprise and sponsored by Dacorum Community Trust and FFEI.
Mike Penning, MP for Hemel Hempstead presented the award and congratulated the winning team, he was really impressed by the use of recycled materials and business acumen. The Mayor, Cllr Roger M Taylor also attended the event and presented awards on the night.
Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading business and enterprise education charity which runs practical learning programmes to inspire young people and improve their undertstanding of the value and role of business. The winning company EB Creations, which produced and sold handmade jewellery from recycled materials, will compete against teams from other regions in Hertforshire at the County Final, hosted by Hertfordshire University on 14th June 2011.
