Mike Penning backs Urban Mass Choir project

Mike Penning, MP for Hemel Hempstead is backing calls for 100 Dacorum singers to join the 2nd Urban Mass Choir.
Mike said:
“The Urban Mass Choir was great last year and is a tremendous opportunity for people to get into the spirit of Christmas. I absolutely love the energy, and excitement and wouldn’t miss their Christmas concert for the world!”
Choir Master Charlotte Roel said:
“We were chuffed, when people lined up to get in to the Urban Mass Choir Concert last year in spite of snow storm, hazardous driving conditions and freezing degrees well below zero!
“This year we plan to top last year’s event, as Urban Mass Choir 2011 takes on excerpts from Handel's 'Messiah' and the famous 'Hallelujah Chorus' in Quincy Jones' contemporary version!”
