Mike Penning visits ‘Go 4 It’ Youth Club

Mike Penning, Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead visited the ‘Go 4 It’ Youth Club at Sportspace, Longdean School this week.
The ‘Go 4 It’ Youth Club runs for half term and offers a wide range of sporting and dance activities for young people, including trampolining, dodge ball, football, hockey music, dance and teambuilding games.
The club is run by Emma Carder of coachingme and funded by Dacorum Local Partnership of Schools and Youth Connexions. The young people are also undertaking fundraising activities themselves to ensure the clubs survival.
Mike met with Emma Carder and Mike Short, the Partnership’s development officer.
Mike Penning said:
“It is great for young people to have something exciting to go to during the holidays. I congratulate them on their club – it really was great fun to visit. Clubs such as this are an essential part of our community and are of great benefit to those who go along.”
