MP presents prize to Christmas card competition winner

Mike Penning visited The Collett School to present the prize to the winner of his 2007 Christmas card competition.

For the third year running Hemel MP, Mike Penning, has held a competition amongst pupils at The Collett School to design his Christmas Card.

This year’s winner was Matthew Brook with a ‘really cool’ Santa.

On Friday morning (14th) Mike visited the school to announce the winner and present the winning pupil with a £50 WH Smith voucher.

Afterwards Mike said:

“This competition has proved a lot of fun and the pupils clearly enjoy taking part. I get many comments about how my Christmas card stands out and am delighted that it gives one of the pupils a chance to see their design through to a final card.”
