MP congratulates students on exam results

Hemel MP, Mike Penning, sends his congratulations to local students who have been successful in their GCSEs – the results of which came out today.
Mike said:
“It is great news that the number of students passing their GCSEs has again increased. This is especially welcome following the successes of the A Level results last week.
“Good exam results are vital if our young people are to successfully compete in this increasingly competitive world. The world is changing now at such a fast pace and we now rely on technology that hadn’t even been heard of ten or fifteen years ago.
“I am in the fortunate position of being invited to visit schools and chat to students on a regular basis. I am constantly impressed by the quality and depth of the questions they ask about current affairs.
“I congratulate all local students who have put in a lot of hard work and been successful in their exam results and encourage them in whatever they do in the future.”
