Local MP, Mike Penning, has congratulated Kings Langley School on winning the national final of the UK Rock Challenge.
Mike Penning and his wife, Angie, attended the National Final in Milton Keynes together with Dacorum Mayor Bert Chapman and his wife Shirley.
Mike said:
“I have been following local schools at the UK Rock Challenge for several years and it was fantastic to see Kings Langley win Overall First Place at the National Final. It was a well-deserved win and the noise and excitement is something they will remember for a long time!
“It was an additional honour for me to be invited to present the winning prize. It really was a great night and a tremendous achievement!”
Kings Langley’s winning production was themed “Swift as a shadow, short as any dream” and beat off literally hundreds of other schools to take first place.
