Mike Penning supports World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Mike Penning MP joined MacMillan Cancer Support's fundraising coffee morning.

Mike Penning MP for Hemel Hempstead joined MacMillan Cancer Support for “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” at Fired Creation Mobile Pottery Painting Studio at the Old Barn, Boxmoor Trust on Friday 29th September 2006.

The aim of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is to hold coffee mornings throughout the country all raising money to help people suffering from cancer. Macmillan estimates that about 50,000 coffee mornings took place.

After the coffee morning, Mike Penning said:

“MacMillan Cancer Support offers a very valuable service providing practical and emotional support to people suffering from cancer. I am delighted to support the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ and the local organisers who give up their time and work so hard to support such a worthy cause.”
