Mike Penning welcomes “Festival in Celebration of Stories”

Mike Penning joined local ‘theatregoers’ at Kings Langley’s first Tell Tale Festival.
King Langley’s MP, Mike Penning joined theatregoers young and old at a “Festival in Celebration of Stories” held at the Rudolf Steiner School.
The school was transformed into a West End theatre for the two days of the event. A wide range of high quality theatre companies put on shows that delighted children of all age groups and adults alike.
Theatregoers were treated to a series of productions the Theatre of Widdershins version of ‘Arabian Nights’, Jamie Crawford’s ‘King Arthur’ and ‘Jumping Mouse’ an adventure suitable for younger children by theatre group Unpacked. It was a great day out for all the family with a free story room and puppet shows for children running alongside the main event.
Mike said:
“This was a real treat for the people of Kings Langley and was clearly a great success. Many people have told me they are already looking forward to next year! I congratulate all those involved in making this happen – their hard work really paid off.”
The Tell Tale Festival was organised by Wizard Presents and backed by Arts Council England, Kings Langley Parish Council and Rudolf Steiner School.
