MP congratulates Pakistan Flood Appeal event

Mike Penning visited a community event in Marlowes last Friday which raised an impressive £1,170.55 for the Pakistan Flood Appeal.
Mike said:
"I am delighted that the event was such as success. I particularly want to congratulate the organisers Saima Gul, Ghazala Safdar and Sadia Shabir for all the hard work they put it.
"It is hard for those of us so far away to truly imagine the scale of the disastrous flooding that has hit Pakistan. But many in our community have strong links with Pakistan and I am proud that local people have responded to the appeals for help."
