Hemel Storm Basketball U16
Mike Penning presented Hemel Storm under 16 player Tolu Babalola with an certificate in recognition of his selection to the England Junior squad at the Hemel Storm match on Saturday.
Hemel Storm’s under 16 team reached the National Junior Championship Play-Off Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon by beating their opponents, the Torbay Tigers 106-44 at JFK School.
Later, Mike watched Hemel Storm win their final regular season game 83-81 against Leeds Carnegie in a nailbiting finish which ensured they took in a tremendous third place in the English National First Division.
