On Friday, 11th July Mike Penning joined South West Herts MP David Gauke, Mayor Cllr Allan Lawson, and Dacorum Borough Council Chief Executive, Sally Marshall, along with a special guest appearance by Tobi, the official mascot of the Tour of Britain, to officially launch the Hemel Hempstead stage of the Tour of Britain which will take place on Friday 12th September.

This will be the first time Hemel Hempstead hosts a stage of Britain’s biggest professional bike race - The Tour of Britain and it will finish in Gadebridge Park.
