Hemel Hempstead MP, Mike Penning has welcomed a group of over 30 members and staff of the Herts and Bucks Wing ATC to the House of Commons last week.

The group was led by Flt Lt Dylan Foster-Edwards RAFVR(T), OC Rickmansworth Squadron ATC.

Mike Penning said:
“I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the ATC Wing’s annual exercise at Longmoor Camp back in May and in return I invited them to come and visit the Houses of Parliament, which I’m pleased to say they accepted.

“The ATC offers great opportunities for young people between the ages of 13 to 18 to experience a wide range of exciting activities. I was in the ATC myself – 1341 Thundersley Squadron – and I know from my own experience that the ATC is very successful at helping develop young people’s potential, sense of adventure and confidence. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the cadets again.”
