Mike Penning, MP for Hemel Hempstead, has praised Crest Nicholson’s “impressive” development, Nash Mills Wharf. During a visit to the new canal-side development, which will comprise of a selection of one, two, three and four bedroom houses, the MP commented on the fantastic location of the homes, which have transformed what had previously been an area primarily used by industry to a brand new community.
Mike Penning MP commented: “I am delighted to visit Crest Nicholson’s development at Nash Mills Wharf. This impressive new development really makes the most of its location near to the Grand Union Canal, one of the town’s main features. The area’s transformation from a hive of local industry to a pleasant residential area is nearly complete.
“With its excellent transport links to London, nearby retail parks and open countryside, I am sure it will be a popular place to live.”
Christine Tiernan, Sales & Marketing Director, Crest Nicholson South commented: “We think Nash Mills Wharf is a fantastic development but it’s even better to have the seal of approval from our local MP. What’s really important to us here at Crest Nicholson is to develop and maintain communities, not just build properties, so it’s great to have support here in Hemel Hempstead from Mike Penning. We look forward to welcoming him back in the future.”
A stylish mix of spacious family homes as well as modern apartments, Nash Mills Wharf has been designed to create a warehouse style façade, including large windows and balconies. The development has been devised to enliven this area of the town, bringing life back to the old mill site while creating a contemporary living space.
Nash Mills Wharf is perfectly placed for residents to enjoy the stunning Chiltern Hills, which are only a stone’s throw away, and with trains to London Euston in just half an hour, purchasers at the development can enjoy the best of town and country living.
The paper mill which lends Nash Mills Wharf its setting has a deep history dating back to medieval times where it was once a corn mill.
