Mike Penning said:
“Kings Langley School deserved this accolade one hundred per cent. What a great result. I have been following the fortunes of the local schools in the UK Rock Challenge for several years and have enjoyed every minute of it.
“This is a fantastic achievement for all involved and I am absolutely delighted”

The UK Rock Challenge consistently attracts a high number of entries, involving thousands of young people. The initiative is supported by police and businesses around the country and is seen to be a valuable contribution to a student’s Record of Achievement.
The benefits of participation in the UK Rock Challenge are widely recognised and include improved fitness, confidence, mutual support and sense of responsibility.
The UK Rock Challenge is part of a global phenomenon that originated in Australia, but has now spread to include New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Germany, South Africa and the USA.
