Hemel Hempstead MP, Mike Penning, has congratulated Herts Baseball Club on securing a £10,000 grant to continue the development of Grovehill Ballpark. The award came from BaseballSoftballUK’s capital facility funding from Sport England.

Mike, who opened a new baseball diamond at Grovehill in 2010, said:
“I am delighted that the club has won this grant to improve facilities at Grovehill. This is a great asset for the town and contributes to Hemel Hempstead being recognised as a centre of sporting opportunity and excellence. It is great news for local baseball fans.”
