Mike Penning, MP for Hemel Hempstead, has met with a local start-up business to learn about their different approach to private home care.
Care4u2day is a privately owned care service that places great emphasis on quality care in the “old school” way. The business has been set up by two experienced professional care workers, Paula Hayes and Cathy Eggers and their husbands with Paul Hayes and Neil Eggers. Paul has taken on the role of Sales and Marketing Director as well as covering all the legal side.
Field Care Director, Paula Hayes said:
“We have spent a lot of time talking to people about their experiences of private care and we are keen to put all we have learned into practice. Our emphasis is on getting to know our clients and offering a very personal and friendly care service.”
Care4u2day services a wide range of clients who need personal care at home.
Care4u2day has been awarded an outstanding classification by the Care Quality Commission in August 2012 who were very impressed with the policies and protocols in place.
Mike Penning said:
“I was delighted to meet with Paula and Cathy and their enthusiastic team. I fully agree that home care needs to go that little bit further and offer a personal and friendly service to their clients. I am sure that if they can achieve that they should do very well. I wish them the very best with their new venture.”
