On Wednesday 17th October, Mike Penning attended the Keith Rumble Awards 2012 which were held at the South Hill Centre. The awards celebrate the achievements of people with learning disabilities and differences in Hertfordshire and were hosted for HCS by The Pioneer Spirits.

Mike presented some of the awards during the ceremony culminating in the Keith Rumble Learning Disability Personality of the Year Award 2012 which was awarded to Aditya Putcha.

Mike said:
“I am delighted to have been invited to attend this event. Everybody had great fun and it was wonderful to see the recipients receive their awards.

“I commend the work of the organisers in making this such a special day for everyone.”
