Mike Penning is first Conservative MP to win the annual Commons pool competition.
Hemel Hempstead MP won the annual Commons pool competition held in Annie’s Bar at the House of Commons on Tuesday. In doing so, he has become the first Conservative MP ever to take the title.

He said:
“I am very pleased to be able to give some money to local good causes as a result. I will give £1,000 to the Hemel Hempstead Branch of the Royal British Legion and £250 each to local youth clubs – Adeykidz in Adeyfield and Kids Zoo in Gadebridge.”
